Graphic Designer

Summary
The Graphic Designer is responsible for the design of promotional collateral for the entire organization. Some of the common materials developed in this function include product brochures and posters, tour program booklets, social media and website banners, website pages, electronic newsletters, conference exhibits, and other promotional deliverables. The Graphic Designer reports directly to the Marketing and Communications Supervisor.
Ongoing Responsibilities
- · Design varying products from concept to completion including flyers, brochures, presentations, email marketing and other various projects as required
- · Update varying digital and print marketing collateral
- · Design and assemble booklets of varying size and dimension with specific layout
- · Build professional emails for large promotional distributions
- · Occasionally design material for corporate social media accounts
- · Manage and prioritize multiple work requests from various department leaders within the organization
Requisite Skills and Qualifications
- · Superior skills in graphic design, typography, and color sense, as well as knowledge of current design trends
- · Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- · Associate’s degree in Graphic Design or Communications
- · Disciplined accuracy and attention to detail
- · Ability to accept the review and critique of work
- · Professional written communication skills
- · Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously of varying complexity while protecting quality of work
- · Ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within the department and across the organization
- · Willingness to support endeavors outside of business hours when necessary
